Welbeck to leave Arsenal

Arsenal are set to allow Danny Welbeck to leave the club.

The forward is currently injured, and may not play for Arsenal again.

The club are looking at bringing in another forward this winter when the transfer window opens.

Now, it seems they could well let Welbeck leave on a free.

Should that happen the player will have to find a new club.

After spending the best part of this season out injured, that’s easier said than done.

However, Galatasaray are reportedly keen on Welbeck.

The Mirror claim the 28-year-old is an attractive option for the Turkish side, who are struggling up top this season.

Transfer funds

It’s clear that Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey will be leaving Arsenal when their contracts are up in the summer.

However, one player who could also be on their way out of the club is Mesut Ozil.

Ozil has struggled under Unai Emery.

Now, it seems he could leave, and while it would be hard to recoup the money he gets each week from Arsenal, if he’s left on the bench for extended periods of time, there may not be a choice.

Emery is trying to put his stamp on the side, and is certainly not worried about dropping players.
