Nicolas Pepe summer sale confirmed
On Sunday’s edition of Telefoot, there was an eye-catching interview with Lille chairman Gerard Lopez.
Lille are enjoying a fabulous season in Ligue 1. They are on course to qualify for the Champions League sitting second in the table.
For the record, PSG are a whopping 20 points clear of Lille in the standings.
Lille’s star player is forward Nicolas Pepe.
The Ivory Coast international is the second highest scorer in the league with 18 goals. Only Kylian Mbappe (27) has more.
On Sunday, Gerard Lopez confirmed that Pepe will be sold this summer:
It is certain, he will leave. He has moved into a price range that we can not afford anymore.
There is a career choice to make for him, I think he will have the choice.

Arsenal & Man United
From the Premier League, both Arsenal and Man United have been linked to Nicolas Pepe over the past few months.
The two other clubs in the running are PSG and Bayern Munich.
It’s believed that Pepe could command a price tag around 50 million euros.
If that happens, belief is that Arsenal may be priced out of the transfer.
Arsenal's interest in Pepe is longstanding, but feels like he may have moved out of reach. Bayern very much favourites for the Lille winger. https://t.co/Ts2JtZ45MZ
