Recent weeks have seen Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos linked with a possible summer move to the Premier League.

Arsenal to sign Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan

AS tell their readers that Ceballos is just “one step away from Arsenal”.

While AS note that Spurs and AC Milan have also tabled bids, Ceballos seems set to join the Gunners.

Ceballos is set for a season-long loan at the Emirates Stadium.

Will Arsenal secure an option to buy Ceballos? That remains unclear.

Why has Ceballos picked Arsenal over Spurs?

AS drop a hint on this issue, saying that “the interest shown by Unai Emery” was key in convincing Ceballos to join the Gunners.

Of course, Tottenham fans will remain puzzled by the midfielder’s decision.

While Spurs will once again be in the Champions League next season, Arsenal will play Europa League football on Thursday nights.

AS note that Zinedine Zidane still needs to give his ‘OK’ to the transfer.

Moreover, Ceballos is now on vacation following Spain’s triumph at the U21 Euros in Italy.

Ceballos is only set to return to Real Madrid on July 22nd.
