Arsenal & West Ham’s Issa Diop
The Mirror on Thursday report that Arsenal have previously spoken to West Ham about French defender Issa Diop.
According to the red-top, Unai Emery enquired about the availability of the 22-year-old centre-half.
Relying on a report from French website Foot Mercato, the Mirror claim:
Arsenal boss Unai Emery made an enquiry over Diop three weeks ago, with West Ham requesting £65 million for his services.
That price-tag seems to be prohibitively high for Arsenal.
Diop is under contract at West Ham until 2023.

Arsenal’s search for new defenders
Unai Emery is chasing new defenders in the final days of the transfer window.
The Gunners have been trying to sign Celtic’s Keiran Tierney all summer.
At the same time, Laurent Koscielny is looking for a way out of the Emirates Stadium.
Shkodran Mustafi could also leave if the right offer comes along.
Arsenal in talks with number of clubs over Shkodran Mustafi exit. 27yo (contract until 2021) wants to stay + prove himself. But #AFC want permanent or loan departure. Also hope to bolster central defence pre-deadline & retain interest in Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney #CelticFC
