Arsenal are set to offer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a bumper new deal to keep the winger at the Emirates Stadium.
Chamberlain, 24, has just under 12 months remaining on his Arsenal contract, and has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
More recently, Chamberlain seems to have broken into Arsene Wenger’s first team plans, having been a bit-part player in the early stages of last season.
While Liverpool were keen on the Ox earlier in the summer, it’s Chelsea who are most heavily linked with the player now.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal could offer Chamberlain a new contract worth £125,000 per week.
Manager Arsene Wenger is keen to tie the player down for further four years.
Chamberlain was reportedly unimpressed with the Gunners previous offer of £100,000 per week.
Like teammates Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, Chamberlain would be able to leave the club for free at the end of the season if no deal is agreed.
