Arsenal are set to welcome the return of three key players from injury.
Francis Coquelin who has been suffering from a hamstring injury has resumed full training.
Meanwhile, Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil are set to return on Monday.
The Frenchman sustained a hamstring injury at the start of last month in Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth.
The 26-year-old today resumed full training with Arsenal.
The Gunners have missed their midfield enforcer; especially given Granit Xhaka’s tough start to the season.
Coquelin will certainly be a welcomed return and will provide Arsenal’s defence with extra defensive cover – patrolling just ahead of them.
The Englishman was hurt in Arsenal’s goalless draw with Chelsea last month, suffering from a groin issue.
Welbeck has so far missed around three weeks of action with the injury.
He is, however, expected to return to training on Monday.
The forward has impressed when called upon so far this season.
His injury record has been poor at arsenal and he will be desperate to now try and get an injury-free run in the side.
This week has been an uncertain one in terms of Mesut Ozil’s future in North London.
This uncertainty being caused by Arsenal legend Martin Keown, who believes the German’s head is not focused on Arsenal.
However, Arsenal fans may well get to see their assist magician in action against Watford on 14 October.
The German, like Welbeck, is expected back at Arsenal’s London Colney Training Centre on Monday.
Ozil is believed to have recovered from an inflammation of his knee which has been troubling him.
This, of course, would provide Arsene Wenger with a huge boost ahead of Watford.
