Arsenal meet Celtic’s £25m Kieran Tierney asking price & L’Equipe double down on Nicolas Pepe bid report

Arsenal meet Celtic’s £25m Kieran Tierney asking price

Are Arsenal finally about to sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic?

According to BBC Scotland reporter Chris McLaughlin, Arsenal have finally offered Celtic 25 million pounds for their left-back.

Celtic have reportedly been holding out for that asking price from the Gunners.

So will Arsenal sign Tierney?

That’s unclear, although the Scotsman seem to indicate that Arsenal will get the deal done:

£25m has been widely quoted as Celtic’s valuation of Tierney who has been a key member of the club’s all-conquering side during the past four seasons.

If the deal goes through it will break the record for a transfer fee involving a Scottish club.

What’s going on with Nicolas Pepe & Arsenal?

On Saturday night, Telefoot claimed that Arsenal have bid 80 million euros for Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

However, that report was challenged by the BBC’s David Ornstein.

David Ornstein stated that Arsenal haven’t made any bid for Pepe, while the figures supposedly involved in the deal are too high for the Gunners.

On Sunday, L’Equipe support TF1, by also reporting on Arsenal’s supposed bid for Pepe.

L’Equipe claim that Arsenal’s 80 million euro offer was presented to Lille on Thursday.
