Arsenal, Liverpool & Thomas Lemar
Ever since Monaco won the French title last season, Thomas Lemar has been linked with a Premier League move.
A few weeks ago, Vadim Vasilyev, the vice president and general manager of AS Monaco, talked about Lemar’s future to Telefoot.
The TV show presented a graphic with three clubs named as suitors for Lemar: Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Vadim Vasilyev wished those clubs “good luck for those who want him”. When asked if Lemar would cost €110 to 130 million, Vasilyev simply said he’d cost “a lot!”
Monaco 0 – Amiens 0
Monaco suffered a shock result on Saturday in Ligue 1.
While PSG have wrapped up the title, the race to finish in the top three is frantic.
Only three French clubs can qualify for next season’s Champions League. Fourth spot only grants entry into the Europe League.
At the start of the weekend Monaco were second in the table, while Lyon and Marseille were breathing down their neck.
And Monaco choked at home against Amiens, as the Principality dropped two crucial points in a goalless encounter.

To make matters much worse for Monaco, Lyon beat Nantes 2-0 to to move a point above them into second.
Marseille face Angers away on Sunday, knowing a win would also put them a point above Monaco as they’d leapfrog into third.
Thomas Lemar in ‘crisis’
After the Amiens game, Monaco fans turned on Arsenal and Liverpool target Thomas Lemar.
Thomas Lemar is in what can only be described as crisis mode – Monaco fans targeted him with abuse post-match in the car park after another terrible performance. Dimitri Payet very much coming for his World Cup place.
