Pepe’s time at Arsenal
Nicolas Pepe became Arsenal’s record signing when he joined the Gunners this summer.
BBC Sport reported that Pepe cost Arsenal £72m, which they say is a club-record fee.
The Ivorian had an outstanding 2018/19 campaign in France with Lille, scoring 22 and assisting 11 in 38 Ligue 1 clashes.
Pepe has since made four appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League, two of which came as a starter.
Those two games were against Liverpool and Tottenham, so Pepe has had a pretty tough start to life at Arsenal.

Nwankwo Kanu on Pepe
In his short stint at Arsenal, Pepe has assisted one for the Gunners.
The winger has also shown glimpses that he can be a top-class player this season, although his decision making in the final third may need some work.
Arsenal are set to take on Watford this weekend, and Pepe will no doubt be hoping that he can open his goal-scoring account for the Gunners vs the Hornets.
But, despite only playing four times for the north London outfit, Arsenal legend Nwankwo Kanu believes that teams are already afraid of Pepe:
“If you watch him you can see he is a really good footballer and his feet are very quick. He is going to score goals and he is going to play well.
“He will get much better and he will score goals for us. He brings us something different to the other two strikers.
