As per a report from UOL, Premier League giants Arsenal are the front-runners in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura this summer.
Attacking midfielder/winger Lucas has been at the Parc des Princes for 4 years now, though he has yet to establish himself as a starter week-in week-out for the French giants.
The 2016/17 campaign proved a productive one for the Brazilian international, as he racked up 19 goals and 6 assists across all competitions.
However, fans of the Paris-based club continued to ridicule Lucas despite his best efforts, while the world-record arrival of Neymar from Barcelona means a summer departure for the fleet-footed South American is now looking a near-certainty.
And, as per the aforementioned report from UOL, Premier League side Arsenal (who today dispatched of Chelsea in the Community Shield) have entered the race to sign the pacy attacker, joining the likes of Inter and AC Milan.
The Gunners are in the market for another attack-minded player this summer, with the contracts of star men Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil due to expire in less than 12 months.
The North London outfit have so far been frustrated in their attempts to coax Monaco winger Thomas Lemar to the Emirates, with Arsene Wenger and co. viewing Lucas as a quality backup plan.
PSG are reportedly seeking a fee in the region of 30 million Euro for the 36-time capped international.
