The ongoing saga of Arsenal’s pursuit to sign Celtic’s Kieran Tierney continues to go nowhere on Sunday.

Yet, the Telegraph offer Arsenal fans a boost in their side’s chase of the Scottish left-back.

In a wider report about Arsenal closing in on Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos, the broadsheet have revealed the following on Tierney:

(Arsenal) remain hopeful of signing Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney and have all but completed a move for Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba.

When it comes to how the negotiations are playing out in public, Neil Lennon recently confirmed why Celtic haven’t sold Tierney to Arsenal.
