Arsenal, Everton & Barcelona’s Malcom
The future of Brazilian winger Malcom has been the subject of conversation for some time.
Malcom joined Barcelona from Bordeaux in 2018. However, the South American has somewhat struggled at the Camp Nou.
Last season, 22-year-old Malcom only managed to make 24 appearances across all competitions. He scored four goals and assisted two.
On Tuesday, leading Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte have confirmed that Arsenal and Everton are trying to sign Malcom.
Globo claim that Arsenal and Everton have both made moves to try to sign the winger.
Sadly, Globo fail to reveal any details (transfer fee, salary, length of contract) regarding the respective approaches.
Yet, it’s noted that Barcelona are looking to recoup the 41 million euro transfer fee that they shelled out on the forward.
For the record, Malcom agreed a five-year contract when he joined Barcelona.

Unai Emery & Malcom
One nugget of information revealed in Globo, however, is that Unai Emery is keen on signing Malcom.
Is that an indication that Arsenal’s transfer recruitment policy still rests with the manager?

Sticking with Arsenal’s recruitment policies, Edu Gaspar is finally set to return to north London.
After working with the Brazilian federation as they won the Copa America, Edu is now poised to become Arsenal’s technical director.
Looking ahead, Edu’s primary responsibility will be in the area of recruitment.
Why Lucas Vazquez won’t join the Gunners
Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez won’t be signing for Arsenal, report Spanish radio station Onda Cero. They’ve confirmed:
Lucas Vazquez may be leaving Real Madrid, but he won’t be joining Arsenal.
It’s claimed that Arsenal have zero interest in Vazquez and, contrary to reports, the Gunners have not made a bid for the player.
