Arsenal have confirmed that manager Arsene Wenger has signed a new two year deal with the club.
While the news does not come as a shock, given it broke earlier in the week and rumours had been swirling for the entire season over Wenger penning at least a two year extension to his current contract, the confirmation still saw fans have a mixed reaction.
The majority of fans weren’t impressed, and you can only imagine what they will do if the next couple of seasons don’t go well.
Pundits and fans have already suggested they think it’s time for the long serving manager to leave, and it seems that the likes of Gary Lineker don’t even think the Gunners will get back into the top four.

Not the end?
Wenger meanwhile has stuck to his guns, and after winning the FA Cup, he answered his critics on more than one occasion.
There are even rumours that Wenger may even think that two years isn’t enough, and with the backing of the board, it seems that he could even stay for longer.
