Arsenal & Celtic’s Kieran Tierney
There are just three days remaining in the English summer transfer window.
Will Arsenal finally end up signing Kieran Tierney from Celtic?
On Tuesday, the BBC’s David Ornstein has confirmed that Arsenal “retain (an) interest” in signing Kieran Tierney, even though the Scottish international is injured.
Also, the Evening Standard have announced that “Arsenal remain hopeful of agreeing a deal for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney”.
Last weekend, suggestions spread that Kieran Tierney could be out of action for the next two months.
Neil Lennon confirmed that injured Arsenal target Tierney may be out of action for a while:
He’s still injured and he’s rehabbing.
He had a double hernia and he still has the Osteitis pubis problem so it’s a slow burner that one.

Nottingham Forest to sign Carl Jenkinson
In another update from David Ornstein, it appears that Nottingham Forest are close to signing Carl Jenkinson from the Gunners.
Readers are told that Carl Jenkinson and Nottingham Forest are in “advanced” talks.
David Ornstein didn’t clarify whether 27-year-old Jenkinson could switch to Nottingham Forest on a permanent or loan deal.
Jenkinson has previously had loan spells at West Ham and Birmingham City.
According to Arseblog, Jenkinson’s Arsenal career may soon be over:
The die-hard Arsenal fan (Jenkinson) now looks set to depart on a permanent basis before Thursday’s deadline, which will leave the club with just Ainsley Maitland-Niles as a right back until Hector Bellerin returns.
