Arsenal & Celtic’s Kieran Tierney
With less than 48 hours left in the transfer window, will Arsenal sign Celtic’s Kieran Tierney?
On Wednesday morning, the big news concerning Tierney is that he could be back in action in a week.
Tierney has been injured throughout Celtic’s pre-season.
Indeed, last weekend, rumours spread that Tierney could miss the next two months of action.
However, Neil Lennon has now confirmed that Tierney’s injury comeback could happen far sooner:
(Tierney will) be fit in a week or two.
He still has some adductor pain but the pubic problem is starting to settle and he’s over the double hernia.
I know there’s talk of him being out for another eight weeks, but that’s nonsense.
I don’t know where that’s come from because that’s certainly not the case at all.
Listen, he’s missed the whole of pre-season but I’d say he’s more or less a week away from getting back on the grass and getting back integrated to the training.
You can add another week or ten days on top of that before he’s ready to play.
Celtic’s manager on #AFC yet to come with a third bid: “We were talking about it on the plane over here as it’s all gone a bit quiet at the minute which is surprising for me. It may or may not happen now.” pic.twitter.com/HOraXQFnxZ

Mohamed Elneny set to join Galatasaray
As reported by Egyptian football insiders King Fut, Mohamed Elneny is set to join Galatasaray.
Elneny has never cemented his place as a starter in Arsenal’s midfield.
Last season, Elneny only made eight Premier League appearances for Unai Emery.
At the same time, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, and Granit Xhaka are all above Elneny in the Arsenal pecking order.
