Arsenal have announced a pre-tax profit of £12.6million having even spent a record amount on several players in the first team squad.
The club made signings such as Granit Xhaka, Shkodran Mustafi, Rob Holding and Lucas Perez which cost a combined total of £86m.
Arsenal are also still continuing to pay off the fee for Alexis Sanchez which took up a good chunk of their money.
Even with the impressive data, this shows the importance of the Premier League’s new broadcasting deal to clubs.
5 per cent of the Gunners’ football revenue came from broadcasting which shows the reliance of the new deal for all clubs in the top flight.
