Huddersfield 1 – Leicester 4
Leicester City cruised to victory at already-relegated Huddersfield Town on Saturday in the Premier League.
The Foxes won 4-1 on the road. The victory pushed Leicester onto 47 points from 33 games, while they moved above Wolves on goal difference into 7th.
Jamie Vardy was the star of the show for Leicester, scoring twice.
Youri Tielemans boosted his reputation scoring the opener for Leicester, while James Maddison also found the target with a sublime free-kick.
Aaron Mooy bagged a consolation for the Terriers.
Arsenal advised to sign James Maddison
In the Times on Monday, columnist Tony Cascarino makes the case for why Arsenal should try to sign James Maddison.
Maddison joined the Foxes last summer from Norwich City in a deal worth around £20 million.
The midfielder agreed a five year deal to remain at the King Power Stadium.
Accordingly, once would have to assume that a team like Arsenal would have to pay a hefty sum to land Maddison this summer.
Yet, for Cascarino, the England international should be on Arsenal’s shopping list:
I look at Maddison and I think, “Arsenal is your team.” The long goal for the north London side is targeting certain players in the summer and Maddison should be the man to replace Aaron Ramsey.
There are not many great No 10s in world football but Arsenal desperately need someone who plays like the Leicester City man.
Maddison’s work-rate is good and getting better. There is no question about whether he is technical enough for the top flight.
22-year-old Maddison has seven goals and six assists in the Premier League this season.
