Man United’s Antonio Valencia is a winner
On Match of the Day on Sunday night, the poll for he September goal of the month competition was held.
Man United defender Antonio Valencia scooped the top prize.
Valencia memorably got the fans at Old Trafford on their feet with a stunning goal for Man United v Everton.
The South American star rocketed a right-footed volley from outside the box into the top corner of the net.
The Man United right-back scooped up a whopping 47% of the vote to finish up in first place.

Four Man City stars lose
Man City had four goals up for contention in the goal of the month competition.
Sergio Aguero was included in the list for his hat-trick goal in Man City’s win over Watford.
Leroy Sane was nominated for his brilliant goal in the demolition of Crystal Palace.
From the same game against Palace, Fabian Delph was included for his long range curler.
While Kevin De Bruyne made the cut for his winner for Man City against Chelsea on Saturday.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho
The runner up in the vote was Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho was included for his sublime long range golazo during Liverpool win at Leicester last weekend in the Premier League.
Coutinho, who also scored for Liverpool at Newcastle on Sunday, picked up 14% of the vote.
