Chelsea are desperate to keep their manager Antonio Conte happy, and despite the trouble with Romelu Lukaku, the Chelsea boss is planning on staying at the club.
Now, it seems he’s asked for £150 million in order to strengthen his forward line, with Alvaro Morata and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both on his hit list.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have made it clear Conte does not want one or the other – he wants both, and when it comes to Morata, that will be far easier said than done.
Real Madrid were determined to keep Morata at the club, and would not let him sign for United when push came to shove, meaning Chelsea will face a similar issue should they make a move for the forward.
Landing BVB forward Aubameyang would look easier, with the club aware the player wants to leave, and while that is certainly true, it’s believed the forward would prefer a move to China.
Of course, Chelsea can offer far more for the player in terms of trophies – as can Liverpool, with the Reds also willing to fight Chelsea for the player, and they have Jurgen Klopp as an advantage.
