Another of Bayern Munich’s top players has admitted he could retire from football at the end of the season in a huge shock for all fans.
That player comes in the form of star winger Arjen Robben, who is still only at the end of 33-years old.
The player has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world such as Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Though, it looks like his career is starting to wind down and his recent comments to German outlet Kicker.
Robben retired from international duty in October as Netherlands’ failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
Also, the player’s contract with Bayern Munich will come to an end following the season which could make up his mind about retirement.
Speaking to Kicker, Robben explained that it is a real possibility that he could retire at the end of the season.
“The appreciation between Bayern and I has always been there, from both sides. I know what I have at this club, and I always say that” he explained.
“I just look to the next game, not beyond. I want to try to have fun as long as I can and play football at a high level, I do not know how long that will go on.”
“The future is open! It may be over after this season, something new may come or I’ll play three more years at Bayern. Everything is possible.”

While Bayern’s form has picked up since the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti, the club is looking to strengthen in January.
