Andy Robertson lavished in praise again following Liverpool opener vs Leicester

Viewers of the clash between Leicester City and Liverpool have taken to social media in numbers to sing the praises of Andy Robertson, following the part played by the Reds’ stopper in his side taking the lead this afternoon.

Leicester vs Liverpool

Liverpool travelled to the King Power for their 4th Premier League outing of the season, hoping to keep their perfect start intact.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have been immaculate to this point in the campaign, sitting joint-top of the Premier League table with 3 wins from 3.

Leicester, meanwhile, also came into this afternoon’s clash in good form, having picked up consecutive wins in their last two league fixtures, versus Wolves and Southampton.

Liverpool in front

The early exchanges at the King Power this afternoon saw the class of Liverpool prove too much for their hosts, with the movement and threat possessed by the Reds’ front-3 of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino having caused typical havoc.

And, after both Firmino and Salah had gone close, it was Mane who finally gave Liverpool a deserved lead with just 10 minutes on the clock.

The goal, when it came, was created by the rampaging Andy Robertson down the left, with the Scot having made short work of the right-sided combination of Rachid Ghezzal and Ricardo Pereira, before squaring to Mane to smash home in emphatic fashion.

Robertson love

And those watching the clash have since taken to Twitter in their droves to sing the praises of creator Robertson, following the latest superb assist racked up by the ever-improving left-back:
