Man City vs Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace travelled to Man City on Saturday in one of six 3 pm kickoffs.
Palace headed into the game in 15th place and the joint second lowest scorers in the league, scoring just 14 in 17 league games.
As for Man City, they started the day second in the league and are the highest scorers in the league with 48 goals from 17.
Also, with Liverpool beating Wolves on Friday, City needed to win in order to keep the pressure on Liverpool.
Townsend scores a goal of the season contender
The game started off as many people expected with City dominating and eventually taking the lead in the 27th minute through Iker Gundogan.
However, Jeffery Schlupp would equalise for Palace in the 33rd minute.
Then, just two minutes later, Andros Townsend would give Palace a shock lead with a superb volley from outside the box.
STOP. THAT. ANDROS. TOWNSEND.

Andros Townsend has just tried a volley from 30 yards, and instead of going in the car park it’s in the top corner of the City net.
Actually might be Liverpool’s year.
