Liverpool and Scotland left-back Andrew Robertson is no-nonsense on the pitch. And, it appears he is no-nonsense off the pitch as well.

Scotland are currently blessed with two high class left-backs, which has been a problem for some of their recent managers.

Not only do they have Champions League winner Andrew Robertson, but also Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, who has established himself as a key player for the Scottish Premiership winners.

Will Kieran Tierney join Arsenal in the summer transfer window?

According to reliable sources on both sides of the border, Arsenal have now had two bids rejected by Celtic for Kieran Tierney.

Personal terms are not expected to be a problem for Arsenal in bringing Tierney down south, but agreeing a fee with Celtic could be.

Andrew Robertson “advises Tierney to leave Celtic”

On Monday, a report started swirling in Scotland claiming that Andrew Robertson had convinced Tierney that the time was right for the Celtic defender to leave for England.

Specifically:

“Transfer consultant Ian McGarry has claimed that a conversation with Andy Robertson has pushed his fellow left-back closer to the exit door.

McGarry: ‘The second thing that has changed for Kieran Tierney is speaking to his international teammate Andy Robertson.'”

However, on Twitter, Andrew Robertson has rubbished this claim in a quick and timely manner:
