Ander Herrera set to earn £300,000 per week at Paris Saint-Germain

Man United’s offer blown out the water

Soon to be former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is set to earn a whopping £300,000-per-week at Paris Saint-Germain.

Herrera announced recently that he will leave Manchester United this summer.

“I will remember every one of almost 200 games that I have played with this shirt because playing for the best club in England has been a true honour,” he explained in a video on social media.

“Thank you for five amazing years!”

With his current deal set to expire in the off-season, the Spanish midfielder is free to negotiate with any club ahead of a summer move.

Rumours of a Paris Saint-Germain move continue to circulate and it’s looking very likely to be his next destination.

Now, a report has outlined the stunning amount of money Herrera is set to earn at PSG.

Herrera set to make bank in Paris

According to the Mirror, Herrera is set to earn ‘in excess of £300,000-a-week at Paris Saint-Germain.’

That certainly gives some insight into his decision to leave Manchester United.

According to their report, Herrera ’had been offered a new deal at United but they could not get close to the package which he is signing up for at PSG.’

While Manchester United could probably have offered that, there were some reservations.

The Mirror claim that Man United feared ‘if they put Herrera on a mega-deal that it could soon become a financial burden on an ageing player who has struggled in recent times to be a guaranteed starter.’

As a result, Herrera was allowed to leave Manchester United and will earn a staggering £300,000-per-week at Paris Saint-Germain.
