The nice guy
Antonio Conte really likes Alvaro Morata. In fact, he’d welcome him into the family. That’s not a mafia joke; we’re not always about lame cultural stereotype gags. The Italian boss would literally welcome Morata to his family.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s match away to Stoke City, Conte described Alvaro Morata as the type of guy you would want your daughter to marry. That’s a description that paints a picture of Morata’s character. Nice and trustworthy.

He said: “He’s a really good guy. It means if you have a daughter you’d be open to having this type of person with your daughter, to marry your daughter. A really good guy, a polite person. I know Alvaro well, he’s a really good guy, a good person, and a good signing for Chelsea because Alvaro is only 24 years old.
“I like him because he’s a complete player and also he has a lot of room to improve in every situation, tactical, physical, technical aspect. He’s very committed, his behaviour is always fantastic.
“He is a very polite player — I like this — and also I like that he’s a good finisher, he feels the goal in every moment, and always understands which is the best position in the box to receive the ball.”
The bad boy
One man who we can’t imagine Conte wanting his daughter to marry is Diego Costa. The Brazil-born Spain international is the polar opposite of his international teammate. He’s rough, tough and nasty on the pitch.
Chelsea didn’t want him anymore but Costa will be welcomed with open arms back at Atletico Madrid. Los Rojiblancos agreed on a deal to re-sign their former player this week, ending a long exile for Costa in Brazil.
Costa won’t be able to play for Atletico until January due to their transfer ban.
