Chelsea fans aren’t the biggest advocates of Alvaro Morata.
The forward saw his debut season in England end with a huge amount of speculation over his future, after missing chance after chance and having injury after injury.
Now, despite the player digging in his heels and claiming he wants to stay at Chelsea – and that the club want him to stay – he hasn’t exactly lit things up during pre-season, and has struggled to find the back of the net once again.
Coming back after the birth of his twins after only 48 hours saw him get some praise, especially in light of Anthony Martial going AWOL, but against Arsenal and again against Manchester City, he struggled.
Of course, you can’t score goals without the service, and Morata didn’t enjoy a huge amount from the Blues and their other attacking players – yet most people made their feelings on the forward clear once again.
Chelsea fans are left worrying about their team going into the season once again – and after another class display from Sergio Aguero, wondering why they can’t have a forward like that.
By the time Morata is able to dedicate a goal to his newborn kids they’re gonna be starting college

Chelsea went from Diego Costa, a man who’s idea of a relaxing night is to watch A Serbian Film & pour triple vodka shots through his eyeballs, to Morata who needs a night light to get to sleep.

Alvaro Morata is a terrible footballer. He’s all talk, my kids will give me power, number 29 blah blah blah. You’re terrible at football geez.

Morata needs to set reminders on his phone so he stops forgetting to bring his confidence to the stadium.

Imagine Chelsea paid £60m for Morata, a striker who had never lead the line on his own or played as main striker for an entire season, never scored 20+ goals, and now are surprised that he doesn’t look like a 20+ goal striker who can lead the line on his own.

Just heard Morata has changed his number to 39 at half time – 29 was also jinxed …

This has nothing to do with Sarri or new systems or it being the start of the season. And i know i said i wouldn’t but… :
ALONSO IS CRAP
PEDRO IS CRAP
LUIZ IS CRAP
WILLIAN IS CRAP
MORATA IS CRAP

I’m honestly so happy we went for Lukaku over Morata.

First Half takeaways:
1. City is going to be near impossible to beat in the prem over 38 games.
2. Morata hasn’t gotten the least bit better.
3. Sarriball doesn’t work in england
4. Bernardo Silva is very good as a cm
5. Leroy Sané is in world cup form

Chelsea are going nowhere with Morata. Paid 80m for a poor mans Giroud but will stick with him because of the price tag, similar to how they did with Torres #CommunityShield

I don’t understand what we did to deserve Shevchenko, Torres, Falcao, Pato, Kezman, Morata.

We all expect & hope to see some nice Sarri-ball from Chelsea, but can you play that with the likes of Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Barkley, Kante, Moses, Morata, Giroud? Chelsea’s roster not really constructed for this type of football.
