Alexander Sørloth & Crystal Palace
Few in south London had ever heard of Alexander Sørloth when he joined Crystal Palace a year ago.
Palace reportedly paid Danish side FC Midtjylland £9 million for Sørloth.
The Norwegian international striker agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Eagles.
However twelve months later, the Sørloth deal hasn’t been a success.
In 12 Premier League appearance this season, Sørloth has yet to score.
That comes at a time when Palace have been struggling for attacking options as Christian Benteke has been a long term absentee.

Sørloth has only scored once this season: a goal against Swansea in the League Cup.
Sørloth set for Gent move
As reported by Het Laatste Nieuws journalist Kristof Terreur, Belgian club Gent are hoping to land Sørloth this January.
Gent are planning to sign Sørloth on loan.
Will Crystal Palace include a compulsory option to buy in any loan deal for the striker?
Terreur has published quotes from Gent coach Jess Thorup confirming their club’s interest in the Eagle.
AA Gent coach Jess Thorup on Alexander Sørloth: “I saw that he played on Saturday. (Laughs) Bad news. He has power, pace and can hopefully score some goals. That’s what we need.” Gent are still hopeful that they can sign the Norwegian on loan from Crystal Palace. #cpfc pic.twitter.com/sjZTWBfB0U
