As per a report from Sky Sports correspondent Angelo Mangiante, Juventus full-back Alex Sandro is set to extend his deal with the Serie A champions, warding off the interest of Premier League giants Chelsea.
It has been common knowledge for some time now that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has set his sights on Sandro as an ideal addition to his squad at Stamford Bridge, with the English top flight champions even reported to have offered upwards of 60 million Euro for the Brazilian.
However, following the shock sale of Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan yesterday, Juventus have informed Chelsea, and any other interested parties, that Sandro has been taken firmly off the market, and is not for sale at any price.
In addition, it looks as though the former Porto standout is set to sign a new deal with the Bianconeri, increasing his wages from 2.8 million Euro per year to 4 million Euro per year plus add-ons.
Chelsea reportedly offered an annual wage of 6 million Euro, though Sandro himself never intimated to Juventus that he was interested in a move to the English capital.
