Man City win at Chelsea
Kevin De Bruyne scored the only goal of the game.
And what a goal it was!
The former Chelsea midfielder pinged a stunning left-footed drive past Thibaut Courtois on Saturday. That condemned Chelsea to a second home defeat of the season in the Premier League.
The Blues offered little in attack against Man City, especially after Alvaro Morata was injured in the first half.
Morata, who has six Premier League goals on the board, left the match with a hamstring injury.
But did Antonio Conte botch is Morata substitution?
Alarm bells for Michy Batshuayi
Instead of replacing Morata with Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi, Conte introduced Willian off the bench instead.
Willian ended up being subjected to a torrent of hate on social media for his shift versus Man City.
But what should Chelsea fans and Batshuayi read into Conte’s decision?
Batshuayi, of course, scored the winner for the Blues last week in the Champions League away at Atletico Madrid.
Ian Wright on Match of the Day
On the BBC’s Match of the Day show, pundit Ian Wright expressed his fears for Batshuayi.
Wright struggled to understand why he was snubbed by Conte. It’s seems clear, however, that Batshuayi isn’t highly regarded by the Italian boss in the dugout.

When the Premier League resumes after the international break, Chelsea take on Crystal Palace.
The Blues are currently fourth in the division with 13 points from seven matches.
Man City and Man United are leading the league with 19 points on the board.
