Arsenal beat Huddersfield 2-1
Arsenal’s top four hopes were boosted on Saturday away at Huddersfield.
The Gunners beat the Terriers 2-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Alex Iwobi opened the scoring for the Gunners, before Alexandre Lacazette bagged a second before the break.
A late own goal from Sead Kolasinac ensured that Arsenal’s record of failing to keep a clean sheet away from home in the league this season continued.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles responds to nasty Arsenal fans
Attention has been drawn to Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ Instagram account since the Huddersfield game.
Maitland-Niles, 21, has been drafted into Unai Emery’s side in recent weeks.
Hector Bellerin’s injury means that Maitland-Niles now has the chance to impress at right-back.
Against the Terriers, the youngster had a solid performance. He capped it off by setting up Lacazette for the decisive goal in the game.
However a bunch of Arsenal fans have decided to post nasty messages to Maitland-Niles on his IG account.
Rather than ignoring them, the young Gunner has responded to his detractors.
