AC Milan midfielder on verge of joining MLS side Seattle Sounders

American dream

AC Milan midfielder Keisuke Honda is set to move to MLS side Seattle Sounders within the next week with club willing to release him from his contract.

The Japanese international was once highly sought after but now has no place in the Italian giants squad.

Now, he is looking to end his career with a bang, by becoming a marquee signing in the MLS.

Sebastian Giovinco was the last high-profile player to move from the Serie A to America and has since become a sensation.

The Italian has since been linked to Barcelona and a move to China, which may give Hondo hope that he could revive his career out there.

Milan looking to tie down Donnarumma

AC Milan are said to be looking to tie down their Italian starlet but it may prove difficult with Mino Raiola.

The super agent is said to be looking for around €5m per year for the goalkeeper.

Donnarumma is seen to be one of the most talented goalkeepers in the world but is only 17-years-old.

Raiola asking for that much may be ambitious, but it would certainly not go to waste.
