AC Milan ambitiously inquired about Cristiano Ronaldo

AC Milan have supposedly informally inquired about the availability of Cristiano Ronaldo after meetings with super agent Jorge Mendes.

The Portuguese star has been linked with a move away over the summer but it is clear now that the intention is to stay at Madrid for another season.

There is potential that Ronaldo will leave the club next summer with PSG and Manchester United two club consistently linked.

Now, Milan could come to the forefront after asking Mendes about if the player was possibly available and if so, at what price.

It was relayed to them, however, that the player would not cost less than €200m and would come with wages of around €32m per season.

That, as Sky claim, is unsustainable for an Italian club so a deal could, therefore, be unlikely.

Regardless, AC Milan had some bottle to ask for such an ambitious enquiry.

Milan distance themselves from deal

AC Milan have been by far one of the most active clubs in the transfer market this summer.

Now, they have actually distanced themselves away from a deal that seemed close.

Find out who the player is here and why they have distanced themselves.
