Ramsey says his final goodbyes
Soon to be Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has released a statement on social media after his Arsenal career was prematurely ended due to injury.
It was revealed on Wednesday that a recent injury Ramsey would rule him out for the rest of the season.
That means that Ramsey has played his last game for Arsenal with the Welshman already agreeing to join Juventus for free this summer.
That is a huge blow for Arsenal with Ramsey playing a key part in performances over the past month or so.
Now, Ramsey has taken to Instagram to explain his disappointment.
“I was a spotty young kid coming in and I’m leaving a man”
In a lengthy statement on Instagram, Ramsey confirmed he won’t play again this season.
He also went on to explain he joined Arsenal as a ‘spotty young kid’ but will leave as a man.
“I am really disappointed not to play until the end and give everything for the club while I am still an Arsenal player,” Ramsey explained.
“Unfortunately, it’s out of my hands but I wanted to say thank you to the fans for your support.
“It has been a journey, on and off the field, and so much has happened in 11 years.
