2019 U.S. Open: Preview

Can Novak Djokovic retain his U.S. Open crown this summer at Flushing Meadows?

Will sensation Naomi Osaka rediscover her winning touch to retain her women’s title in New York?

It’s time for the third Grand Slam of the tennis season, and the excitement is fever pitch.

Sticking with the women’s draw, huge attention will focus on teenager Coco Gauff. The 15-year-old is making her debut at the competition.

Serena Williams will, of course, dominate headlines too. She continues to seek her 24th Grand Slam singles title to tie Margaret Court’s all-time record.

Returning to the men’s competition, Djokovic will again battle Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer for the title.

Can another star step up to steal the title?

Unlikely as Federer, Djokovic and Nadal have dominated the men’s game for the best part of a decade.
