Here at 101, we are dedicated to showing you only the best of the best, and have managed to whittle down the latest batch of top-class finishes to a list of five.
Let us know who you think scored the best goal of the week on Twitter and Facebook.
5: Bruno Fernandes for Manchester United vs Istanbul Basaksehir
Manchester United welcomed Istanbul Basaksehir to Old Trafford last Tuesday, for a Champions League clash.
United headed into the game in desperate need of three points, with tough meetings with PSG and RB Leipzig on the horizon.
And, when all was said and done in Manchester, three points is exactly what the Red Devils secured.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s outfit put Basaksehir to the sword by four goals to one, with Bruno Fernandes having netted the pick of the bunch.
After the ball fell to the Portuguese on the edge of the visitors’ box following a corner, Fernandes put his laces through it, unleashing a stunning finish beyond Mert Gunok:

4: Benito Raman for Schalke vs Borussia Monchengladbach
Schalke made the trip to Borussia Monchengladbach over the weekend.
The visitors’ headed into the tie in dismal form, as the only side not to have notched a single win in the Bundesliga this season.
It therefore shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to hear that Gladbach put four past their relegation-battling visitors, emerging with a comfortable three points.
Schalke’s only real positive of the day came 20 minutes in, when Mark Uth floated a lovely pass over the top to Benito Raman, whose side-footed volley drew the away side level for a short period:

3: Benjamin Mendy for Manchester City vs Burnley
Manchester City haven’t had the best start to the season, dropping far too many points amid hopes of wrestling back the Premier League title from Liverpool.
Against Burnley this past weekend, though, normal service was resumed for Pep Guardiola and co.
This didn’t come as too much of a surprise, as City had lost just once to Burnley since 1974.
On Saturday, the Sky Blues completely dominated, and eventually put five past Sean Dyche’s side.
Kevin De Bruyne unsurprisingly proved one of the standout stars at the Etihad, and it was the Belgian who delivered a trademark cross to Benjamin Mendy 41 minutes in, which the Frenchman went on to strike past Bailey Peacock-Farrell with a superb volleyed effort:
Man City are back to their ruthless best here! 🌪

2: Harry Winks for Tottenham vs Ludogorets
Tottenham faced Ludogorets in a Europa League clash last Thursday evening.
Spurs headed into the tie in the knowledge that a 3-point haul was crucial, to ensure the Lilywhites maintained top spot in Group J.
And Jose Mourinho’s side went to secure exactly that, netting four goals in north London en route to a comfortable win.
The evening’s standout moment came just past the hour mark, when Harry Winks found the net in spectacular fashion from a full 56 yards out.
The English international’s strike would have made the no.1 spot on our list, but Winks himself has since admitted that he wasn’t in fact going for goal:

Now, has he meant that, or was he looking for Gareth Bale?! #UEL pic.twitter.com/OvODPWi4rm

1: Antoine Griezmann for FC Barcelona vs Osasuna
Barcelona welcomed Osasuna to the Camp Nou on Sunday afternoon.
Ronald Koeman’s side headed into the tie in desperate need of three points, having started the day in the bottom half of the La Liga table.
As such, it no doubt came as a much-needed confidence boost when the Catalans eventually emerged with a dominant 4-0 victory, to propel them up to 7th in the Spanish top-flight.
Lionel Messi netted a quality goal to round out the afternoon’s scoring, but it was Antoine Griezmann’s 42nd-minute volley from the edge of the box which stole the show:
