Match preview

Can Orlando City continue their mightily impressive start to the season?

Last weekend, the Lions beat Columbus Crew 2-0 at Lower.com Field with Rodrigo Schlegel and then Ercan Kara on target in Ohio.

That's back-to-back wins for Óscar Pareja's team who've only lost two of eight matches so sit second in the Eastern Conference.

New York Red Bulls meanwhile are just three points below their hosts and would leapfrog them with a victory.

Gerhard Struber's side were held to a goalless draw by FC Dallas at Red Bulls Arena, meaning they've only won of five since starting with back-to-back wins.

Both clubs were involved in the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday night with both avoiding potential banana skins.

The Red Bulls beat Hartford Athletic 2-1 with Lewis Morgan and then Aaron Long on target in Connecticut.

Meanwhile, Orlando beat Tampa Bay Rowdies by the same scoreline thanks to goals from Alexandre Pato and then Júnior Urso.

Back in Major League Soccer, will there be a winner at Exploria Stadium?
