Đorđe Mihailović equalised twice in a frenetic first 45, which saw Kei Kamara improbably poke his team ahead in stoppage time.

Cincinnati then made it 3-3 from the penalty spot before Joaquín Torres snatched the seventh goal of the afternoon and that was enough for the win.

Before this, Montréal had lost their first three matches of 2022 before a 3-3 draw in Atlanta, a game in which they were 3-1 in front with just five to play.
