After both were beaten at the weekend, who will bounce back in New Jersey?

New York Red Bulls took on top of the standings LAFC on Sunday, and were duly beaten 2-0 thanks to a pair of quick-fire goals in California.

Nevertheless, Gerhard Struber's side have won back-to-back home league games, swatting aside D.C. United and then Toronto 12 days ago.

Also, in this period, NYRB have reached the U.S. Open Cup semi-finals, hammering Hudson River rivals New York City 3-0 last midweek.

So, through to the cup semis and fourth in the Eastern Conference, there's plenty for Red Bulls' fans to be optimistic and exciting about.

The same can't be said of Atlanta United, who are down in tenth following their weekend defeat to Toronto FC at BMO Field.

Luiz Araújo did squeeze home an equaliser in Canada, only for TFC to find a second and decisive go-ahead goal 11 minutes from time.

So, Gonzalo Pineda's team have only won two of their last ten outings, last claiming three points on the road on 2 April.

Given that the Five Stripes have also never won at Red Bull Arena, a home victory seems likely.
