Who will continue their climb up the Eastern Conference standings?

Last Sunday night, New England Revolution remained resilient and held Vancouver Whitecaps to a goalless draw at BC Place.

This means Bruce Arena's team are now unbeaten in nine MLS matches, accumulating 20 points from the last 33 available.

So, at the half way mark of the campaign, last year's Supporters' Shield are, just about, above the play-off line.

As are FC Cincinnati who, before this season, had never finished anywhere other than rock bottom of the overall standings.

On Wednesday, the Orange and Blue were involved in a truly chaotic MLS classic with NYCFC the visitors to TQL Stadium.

The hosts raced into a 3-0 lead, Luciano Acosta scoring before Brenner bagged a brace, only for New York to also scored thrice in no time at all.

This meant it was level at the interval, before NYCFC took the lead for the first time, only for Brenner to complete his hat-trick and snatch a point.

The 22 year old Brazilian is the first Cincinnati player to score an MLS hat-trick, meaning Portland, Austin and Charlotte are the only clubs still without one.

In amidst the mid-week madness, that's a good point for Pat Noonan's men who've now accumulated 17 points from their last nine outings.

Having already lost 5-1 in Foxborough in the U.S. Open Cup this season, will Cincinnati leave Boston with a better result this time?
