It does’t get any easier for Austin who face Orlando, LA Galaxy again, CF Montréal and Dallas after this, the teams fifth, seventh, fourth and second.
Before then, the Texans face the ultimate challenge as they take on the early Supporters’ Shield front-runners away from home.
Although, LAFC did lose for just the second time in 2022 at the weekend, going down 2-0 at Colorado Rapids thanks to a pair of first half penalties.
Before this, Steve Cherundolo’s sole loss as Head Coach had been in el Tráfico, winning four of six home games, drawing the other two.
