Dallas vs Colorado Rapids betting tips: Major League Soccer preview, predictions and odds

None of the last 12 meetings between these two have seen an away win with both claiming four victories apiece. The Rapids have only won seven of their last 37 trips to Dallas, dating back to four successive victories in Frisco between 1998 and 2001.

Both teams to score is 8/11.

Jesús Ferreira scored a hat-trick in Dallas' last home game. He is 9/2 to break the deadlock and 9/5 to score anytime.

Andre Shinyashiki is 9/1 to open the scoring and 7/2 to net in 90 minutes.

These two both currently occupy a Western Conference play-off place but will either end up in one?

Colorado Rapids actually ended as best in the west last year, before enduring a sticky start to 2022.

Robin Fraser's men were embarrassingly dumped out of CONCACAF Champions League by Comunicaciones before a 3-0 hammering at LAFC on the opening day.

Since then though, the Rapids are unbeaten, enjoying back-to-back home wins before successive draws.

Last weekend, Lalas Abubakar's equaliser helped them hold Rocky Mountain Cup rivals Real Salt Lake to a 1-1 stalemate at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

So, will Colorado now make it five games without defeat?

FC Dallas missed out on the play-offs last season but are currently above their visitors by virtue of goal difference.

Nico Estévez's side drew 0-0 with Chicago in Illinois last weekend, meaning the Fire keep hold of the Brimstone Cup having won it in 2019.

This draw extend's Dallas' unbeaten run to three games having beaten both Nashville and Portland Timbers at home beforehand.

Will there be a winner at Toyota Stadium?
