This is just Austin FC’s second season in Major League Soccer but they’re looking like being a force.
Last Sunday, Josh Wolff’s side beat Minnesota United 1-0 at Q2 Stadium with Maxi Urruti getting the only goal, his second in as many games.
This wins means the Green and Black now have 11 points after six fixtures, with their only defeat coming away to Portland last month.
Now, can Austin win on the road for the first time this season?
Over in the Eastern Conference, D.C. United have six points to their name, so are down in tenth.
Hernán Losada’s side began with back-to-back wins, beating Charlotte and Cincinnati, but have since lost three successive fixtures.
The Black-and-Red have been beaten by Chicago Fire, Toronto and then Atlanta United, conceding a 94th minute header from the corner in the latter.
This though will be DC’s first match for a fortnight and they’re hoping that extended time on the training field will lead to a win at Audi Field.
