Bahia 0 – Flamengo 1
Flamengo moved up to third in the Brazilian top flight on Sunday, thanks to a 1-0 win over Bahia.
A tight game saw a key moment on the half hour when Bahia defender Lucas Fonseca was sent off for two bookable offences.
Fonseca was booked on 26 minutes and then received his marching orders on 30 in an incident with former Bayern Munich and Hamburg striker Paolo Guerrero.
Lucas Fonseca produces the worst dive ever
Fonseca put in a high jump tackle on Guerrero, managing to catch the Peruvian striker to ensure he was sent off.
Guerrero reacted by turning round and looked like he was about to punch the Bahia defender – a 31-year-old who has spent most of his career at Bahia.
Fonseca was already diving as Guerrero pulled his arm back and produces what must rank as one of the worst dives ever seen in a professional football match.
