Spain vs Lithuania live streaming: Preview

Spain complete their preparations for Euro 2020 on Tuesday when they take on Lithuania at the Leganes’ Estadio Municipal Butarque.

Manager Luis Enrique’s side, who are unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions, drew 0-0 last Friday against neighbours Portugal at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte is likely to feature at the heart of the La Rioja defence, and Liverpool’s Thiago Alcantara is expected to pull the string in midfield. Barcelona’s Jordi Alba could take the place of Valencia’s Jose Gaya at left-back, with UEFA Europa League-winning striker Gerard Moreno of Villarreal, starting up front.

Lithuania, managed by Valdas Urbonas, will use the match to prepare for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers in September, having not won in their last five matches.

Urbonas’ side lost 3-1 to neighbours Latvia in the Baltic Cup on June 4, and the 53-year-old will be hopeful his team can put on a good showing against one of the favourites to win the European championships.

Erzurumspor’s Arvydas Novikovas, who has 12 goals for his county, will be the key man to provide the attacking flair, alongside Jagiellonia Bialystok’s Fedor Cernych. Captain Saulius Mikoliunas is expected to win his 95th cap, and Lecce’s Edgaras Dubickas could make his debut.

Both last faced each other in March 2011, with Spain winning 3-1.

Prediction: Spain 3 – 1 Lithuania

Spain are one of the favourites to win Euro 2020, and with home advantage, are expected to defeat Lithuania who have not won in their last five matches. Luis Enrique’s men could beat the Baltic side by the same scoreline as they did back in March 2011.
