Can the holders stay in the hunt for a 15th FA Cup trophy and a fifth in just eight season?

In the third round, Arsenal were taken to extra time by Newcastle United at the Emirates before eventually winning 2-0.

Emile Smith Rowe and then Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting.

Including that match, the Gunners are now unbeaten in six matches.

On Monday night, they hosted Newcastle again, this time in the league, and won 3-0.

Aubameyang with a brace this time either side of a fourth goal of the season for Bukayo Saka.

Mikel Arteta’a side have now taken 13 points from the last 15 available in the Premier League, moving from 15th to 10th in that time.

They’ve also not conceded in the last 485 minutes of football in all competitions.

Will Arsenal’s fantastic form continue?

Southampton meanwhile played their third round tie as recently as Tuesday night, seeing off Shrewsbury Town 2-0 at home.

Dan N’Lundulu opened the scoring with an early finish on his full senior debut before a now trademark James Ward-Prowse free-kick sealed the win.

Despite this, the Saints’ Premier League form has dipped in recent weeks.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side were beaten 2-0 at Leicester a week ago meaning they’ve now only won one of their last six, all be it that was a victory over Liverpool.

Southampton are one place and two points above Arsenal in the table having played a game less.

Who will progress to the fifth round where a trip to either Chorley or Wolverhampton Wanderers awaits?
