Paraguay vs Brazil live streaming: Preview
Paraguay take on Brazil at Estadio Defensores del Chaco in their latest CONMEBOL 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.
Eduardo Berizzo’s side drew 0-0 with Uruguay on Thursday, which made it eight-games with out defeat in all competitions. Unbeaten in their first five matches, they sit fourth on seven points in the final automatic qualification place in the table, as it stands.
Angel Romero of Argentinian club San Lorenzo has four goals in the qualifiers so far, and will hope to add to his tally against the Selecao.
Brazil, managed by Tite, are unbeaten going into the match and will be keen to maintain their 100% record so far.
The five-time Word Cup winners defeated Ecuador 2-0 on Saturday with goals from Richarlison and a Neymar penalty. Six games unbeaten in all competitions, the last time Brazil lost away from home was back in October 2015, when they were defeated by Chile.
Experienced defenders Thiago Silva and Dani Alves will miss out through injury, and Flamengo’s Gabriel Barbosa is expected to make way for either Roberto Firmino or Gabriel Jesus up front.
Both last faced each other in June 2019, with Brazil winning 4-3 on penalties in the Copa America quarter-finals.
Prediction: Paraguay 1 – 3 Brazil
Berizzo’s side are in fine form having gone eight-games with out defeat, but Brazil are fit and firing on all cylinders and are likely to stay unbeaten and maintain their 100% record so far.
