Karl Robinson’s Oxford, finished 6th in the league on 74 points, having played 46, they won 22, drew eight, and lost 16. Last time out in the league, the U’s won 4-0 at home against Burton Albion.

Blackpool, managed by Neil Critchley, finished the regular season 3rd in the table with 80 points. Forty-six games played, they won 23, drew 11 and lost 12. In their last league match, the Seasiders won 1-0 at home against Bristol Rovers with Ellis Simms netting the winning goal on 75 minutes.

Both last faced each other in March, with Blackpool winning 2-1 away.

Blackpool finished the season three places and 24 points better off, and could beat Robinson’s men by the same scoreline as they did back in March to give them a first-leg advantage.
