Manchester United vs Middlesbrough live streaming: Preview

After a mixed set of results under Ralf Rangnick so far, what will the final four months of the season bring for Manchester United?

The Red Devils ended January with back-to-back Premier League wins, 3-1 at Brentford followed by a last-gasp 1-0 win over West Ham.

Marcus Rashford tapping home in the 93rd minute of the latter as they won successive league games for only the second time since September.

This saw Man United leapfrog the Hammers in the table and the Red Devils now occupy that crucial fourth and final Champions League spot.

Coming up, they face Burnley, Southampton, Brighton Leeds and Watford in the league before games against Man City, Tottenham and Liverpool.

Throw into the mix a two-legged affair against Atlético Madrid and Rangnick's team are faced with a run of winnable games before a very daunting March.

Of course, Champions League qualification is vitally important but, as England's most successful club, winning trophies is too.

Manchester United are the FA Cup's second-most successful club with 12 titles, only doing so twice this century though, in 2004 and 2016.

Will the home side avoid a Friday night cup exit?

Middlesbrough have only appeared in one FA Cup Final, losing to Chelsea in 1997, also reaching the League Cup Final and suffering Premier League relegation in an eventful year back then.

These days, Boro are enduring a fifth successive campaign of second-tier football but are in good form.

On Saturday, Andraž Šporar got the only goal in a win over Coventry, meaning Chris Wilder's side have won seven of their last nine league games.

Since Wilder took over as manager, they've moved from 14th in the Championship up to sixth, occupying the last play-off spot.

In the cup, Boro narrowly beat Mansfield Town 3-2 in the previous round thanks to a 95th minute own goal at Field Mill.

Now, at a slightly more glamorous setting, can they cause a famous upset at Old Trafford?

Prediction: Manchester United 3-0 Middlesbrough
