Who will reach the FA Cup Final?

In round six, Leicester City booked their place at Wembley by beating Manchester United 3-1 at the King Power; Kelechi Ịheanachọ with a brace.

Thus, they’re through to the cup semi-finals for the first time in 39 years but are favourites to be in the showpiece even itself.

Although, Brendan Rodgers’ side are not in good form, most recently losing 3-2 at West Ham a week ago.

The Foxes have now suffered back to back league loses, winning just five of their last 12.

They remain third but only just with West Ham one point behind, Chelsea two behind and Liverpool four adrift.

Their primary aim is to fail to do what they did last season, hold onto a top four spot, but would love to reach the FA Cup Final too.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side come into this one in even poorer form.

On Monday night, Southampton were dreadful in a 3-0 defeat at the Hawthorns to relegation threatened West Bromwich Albion.

This means the Saints have won just two of their last 14 Premier League games, a run that started with a 2-0 defeat at the King Power.

However, four of their six victories in 2020 have come in the FA Cup and they’ll hoping that can carry them to the final.

Who will be taking on Chelsea next month in the FA Cup Final?

Prediction: Leicester City 2-1 Southampton

Leicester are appearing in the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1982, losing 2-0 to Tottenham back then.

They’re aiming to reach a fifth final having finished as cup runners-up in 1949, 1961, 1963 and 1969.

Southampton did win this trophy in 1976, last reaching a final in 2003 and a semi-final as recently as 2018.
