Juventus vs Sassuolo live streaming: Preview

Juventus have been imperious in the Coppa Italia in recent seasons so will that continue in 2022?

La Vecchia Signora are the record 14-times winners of this competition, lifting the trophy in four successive seasons between 2015 and 2018.

Having then beaten Atalanta 2-1 in last year's final, Juve are now looking to reach a seventh final in just eight years.

In the last round, goals from Juan Cuadrado, Daniele Rugani, Paulo Dybala and Álvaro Morata saw them easily beat Cagliari 4-1 at home.

This victory means I Bianconeri have only lost two of their last 26 Coppa Italia ties, one of which came on penalties in the 2020 final against Napoli.

In the league though, Massimiliano Allegri's side are not as impenetrable as they once were.

Juventus are currently fourth in Serie A, ten points behind leaders Inter, despite beating Hellas Verona 2-0 on Saturday night.

The two January signings, Dušan Vlahović and Denis Zakaria, on target.

Will they now reach the semi-finals?

Sassuolo meanwhile beat Cagliari in the last round with Abdou Harroui getting the only goal of the night.

So, despite having only had to win one game, I Neroverdi are competing in a Coppa Italia quarter-final for the very first time.

In Serie A, they finished eighth last season but, this year under Alessio Dionisi, are currently 12th, following Sunday's 4-0 drubbing at Sampdoria.

Juventus should ease through to a semi-final against Atalanta of Fiorentina with victory at Allianz Stadium.

101 Great Goals prediction: Juventus 2-0 Sassuolo

Sassuolo actually won 2-1 in Turin in October and that was their first-ever victory over Juventus at the 17th attempt.
